How to use your Sample Packs

"THE ONE" - Sweet & Savory

  Pan-Seared “THE ONE” Pork Shoulder

Ingredients:

1 "THE ONE" sample pack

3 oz of Pork Shoulder

Instructions:

  1. Pat the 3 oz pork shoulder dry with a paper towel. Rub it with 1 teaspoon of olive oil to help the seasoning stick.
  2. Rub “THE ONE” seasoning evenly over the pork, making sure it is well-coated. Let the pork sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of olive oil (about 1 tablespoon) to the pan and let it heat until shimmering.
  4. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the pork shoulder in the pan. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until a deep golden-brown crust forms. Avoid moving the pork too much while it's searing to ensure it develops a nice crust.
  5. After both sides are seared, reduce the heat to medium-low. Continue cooking the pork for another 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the pork is tender.
  6. Remove the pork from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with sides like sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

"Savor the Flavor" - Pepper Forward

  "Savor the Flavor" Beef Tender Loin

Ingredients:

1 "Savor the Flavor" sample pack

3 oz beef tenderloin

Instructions:

  1. Rub the sample pack of "Savor the Flavor" rub all over the beef tenderloin, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature. This not only helps the flavors to penetrate the meat but also brings the meat to a more even cooking temperature.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef tenderloin. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remember, cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the cut.
  3. Once the beef is cooked to your liking, transfer it to a cutting board and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it juicier and more flavorful when sliced.
  4. Slice the beef tenderloin against the grain into thick slices.
  5. When completed your "Savor the Flavor" beef tenderloin should be juicy & flavorful with a robust taste.

"The Spice is Right" - Robust & Rich

“The Spice is Right” Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

1 “The Spice is Right” sample pack

8-12 chicken wings (flats and drumettes)

Instructions:

  1. Generously cover your wings with "The Spice is Right" seasoning, adjusting the amount to your taste preferences. For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the wings for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the seasoning to infuse the chicken with its delicious flavors.
  2. While your wings are marinating, preheat your air fryer or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. If you're using an air fryer, place the seasoned chicken wings in the basket in a single layer. Air fry them for 7 minutes.
  4. After the first 7 minutes, carefully flip the chicken wings to ensure even cooking. Continue to air fry for an additional 7 minutes. If you're using an oven, place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack and bake them for the same amount of time, flipping halfway through.
  5. Once the cooking time is up, remove the chicken wings from the air fryer or oven. They should be perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, infused with “The Spice is Right” seasoning.

"Bayou Blaze" - Cajun

"Bayou Blaze" Turkey Wings

Ingredients:

1 "Bayou Blaze" Cajun sample pack

4 turkey wings

Instructions:

  1.  In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice & “Bayou Blaze” Cajun seasoning.
  2. Add turkey wings to the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated turkey wings in a roasting pan. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan to help keep the wings moist. Cover the pan with foil.
  5. Roast the turkey wings covered for 60-75 minutes. Remove the foil, then continue roasting for an additional 20-30 minutes until the wings are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the turkey wings from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite sides, like cornbread, dirty rice, or roasted vegetables.

"Southern Sizzle" - Creole

“Southern Sizzle” Blackened Fish

Ingredients:

1 "Southern Sizzle " Creole sample pack

2 firm white fish fillets (such as catfish, tilapia, or snapper)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub each fillet with olive oil to ensure the seasoning sticks well.
  2. Generously sprinkle the blackening seasoning on both sides of each fillet, pressing the spices into the fish to form a crust.
  3. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until it’s very hot. Add the butter and allow it to melt, spreading it around the pan.
  4. Place the seasoned fillets into the hot skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fish, until the fish is cooked through and develops a dark, crispy crust.
  5. Remove the fish from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Serve with lemon wedges, over rice, or alongside your favorite sides like coleslaw, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.

"Let's Smoke" - A kiss of smoke

"Let’s Smoke" Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 “Let’s Smoke" sample pack

12 (41/50 count) Shrimp

Instructions:

  1. Generously sprinkle your shrimp with “Let’s Smoke “seasoning. Adjust the amount of seasoning to your taste preference. For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the fillet for a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes. This allows the seasoning to penetrate the shrimp for a more flavorful result.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (176°C) or set your oven to low broil.
  3.  If you're using an air fryer, place your seasoned shrimp in the basket and air fry for 14 minutes.
  4. If you're using an oven, place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and broil for 14 mins.
  5. When the cooking time is complete, remove the shrimp fillets from the air fryer or oven. It should have a delightful smoky flavor and all thanks to the “Let’s Smoke “seasoning.
